ARISE goals

A key objective of ARISE will be to advance yeast-based innovative mRNA manufacturing approach to pilot scale, enabling the validation of an integrated industrial production process.

 

At this stage, the project will not only demonstrate process robustness, reproducibility, and scalability under industrially relevant conditions, but also include comprehensive validation of the produced saRNA through in vitro and in vivo studies. This combined validation will ensure that the material generated at pilot scale is both biologically active and therapeutically relevant, providing a critical proof-of-concept for future clinical and commercial deployment.

 

By bridging manufacturing scale-up with biological validation, the project will significantly reduce the risks associated with technology transfer and pave the way for large-scale, sustainable production of next-generation RNA therapeutics.
